A Day 3.28.07

From Zambo, Korea, Manila, & Taiwan. We're from different places, but the Lord had brought us together. Amazing, isn't it?

Went to sit-in at the Intermediate Chinese Class in Malabon and enjoy their (Chinese and Filipino saints) sharings in Chinese, then joined DLSU area campus meeting.

It was a fateful day for some. Because a bus carrying students of a day care center on their field trip was held hostage by its supporter for some political reasons. No physical harm happened. I've passed by the area while going to Taft and while on my way back, didn't took any pix of it. That was the first time I was stuck in the traffic, vehicles won't move an inch for 30 minutes or so (I was being fried in jeep then), then when it moves, it adapts snail speed. Result, I arrived at my destination more than an hour late.

But what's eventful that day for me was that I've got to preach the gospel to Sarah. Praise the Lord!:)

Used my cellphone to do the shots, so it has the old photo look. Can't use a cam, or it would be snatched away by the "Rapid Hands and Legs Group".

Finally accomplished my mission in quest for the Good Shepherd/Mountain Maid Strawberry Jam which my dad had been looking for since my last trip to Baguio. 1 stone down.

My Day Today 3.25.07

LTM, Lunch, Sleep (no photo of course), Video Training

LTM -- the brother from Korea had spoken about his propagation in Finland and India. I was really encouraged. We should not be satisfied that gospel is already widespread around the world today. But we should see how much truths have been preached. It caused me to rethink my plans. O Lord, I want to consecrate myself for the propagation of Your truths to the ends of the earth. Here I am, send me!

After viewing the video, I have lots of feelings. It caused me to refresh my love and consecration for the Lord. I am willing to put down everything just to hear Your speaking, just to see You, to care for Your plans and not for my own interests, for my needs. Lord, I need Your enlightenment and leading more and more.

Quest for the Elusive Boots

Went to Robinson's Place and SM Manila last saturday. Have only 2-3 hours time to do shopping so we weren't able to look for more at other malls. But glad I've found the one I'm looking for at SM. It was really hard looking for boots during summer season...

The sale is not yet on so it is not that crowded in the malls. I felt so bored while inside the mall, so I just did some point and shoot, meaningless results actually, next time I'll use a camera instead of the phone...:p

Table of Contents

Last night as I finally decided to learn about the programming stuff, I realized how important the table of contents are...

Rarely do I take notice of table of contents. For me, it was just the part of a book or paper that's supposed to be there but with no useful function at all.

So as I was given the computer file to read, being the computer idiot that I am, I had absolutely no idea about it nor its contents. The language seemed really alien to me. So, I tried to get the idea of it all by trying to familiarize myself with the table of contents. It's then that I realized why we have PSRP. That step is really a must for us to get into the riches of the messages. If we're not familiar with it, then we wouldn't be able to really enjoy the message and see the light that the Lord would want us to see. It is a real guide, guiding us to see the heart and burden of the message. So now I treasure the PSRP more than I did before.

Small Group w/ YWS Last Night

We pursued Life-Study of Exodus about the laws...

Indeed the law was given for us to keep, but it was not meant for us to keep it by our own efforts.

It displeases God so with the children of Israel's attitude in receiving the law. They showed that since You've given us the laws, then we will be able to keep it by ourself.

But God's intention was not like that at all. What He wanted was for man to depend on Him. For by ourselves we cannot keep the law. The law that God gave was perfect, it is a reflection of who God is, just and righteous and perfect. So how could we, as human beings, be able to keep the laws when we are just human beings, with fallen flesh, evil thoughts, and is so degraded?

Many times the more that we would want to keep the law, the more we would criticize others. We would think that we are more superior than others when we are more "moral" or knowledgable with the laws.

But no, dear saints, it is not like that at all. We have to keep the law. But not by our own effort in trying to keep the laws. Rather, we have to use God's grace. We just have to admit that ,"Lord, I want to keep your laws, yet I'm just so limited, I cannot do it. I need You as my grace." Then keeping the laws would not be such a hard thing anymore. The more that we enjoy the Lord, the easier it will be that we'll be able to do things according to what God wants.

May we be those who are constantly being filled with Him till we fully express Him!

Being Healed by the Lord

Last night we had combined service meeting.  Here are some of the notes I've taken...

The reality is in Jesus. 

It needs to be reproduced in many members by the Spirit of Reality. 

Then the seed would be reproduced in us. 

The full harvest is just the manifestation of the kingdom, and it should be lived out from us. 

The church is the place by which God has a realm where He can move.

He wants to move and live in us.  So we need to live Him grow from within us. 

When the Lord came to Peter after His resurrection, He promised Peter to establish the saints.  He first shepherded Peter.  We are that Peter.  We may be weak, may have denied Him at times.  But when we have a heart for the Lord, when we turned to the Lord, the Lord will commission us to shepherd His sheep, His flock.  The Lord will cause us to be able to establish the saints.

We need to daily turn to the Lord.  To daily let Him heal us, restore us.

We need to be constantly brought up to the Mount of Transfiguration for us to see Him and hear Him only.

In the long night, with our destination not far off, we are in the boat, tossed by strong winds and waves.  So we need to experience more of the reality.  We need to ask Jesus to come into the boat. 

When Jesus went to Galilee, there are lots of handicapped people.  But they were healed by Him.  Without the Lord there will be no healing.  Sickness is an abnormal condition.  We may have sicknesses at times, causing us not to be able to serve.  So we need to be on the alert and let the Lord serve us and heal us.

In Mark 16:1 it was the Lord who heals the people.  But when it came to Mark 16:16, it was the disciples who was commissioned by the Lord to heal. 

We need to let Him heal us.  Then be the serving ones to bring the Lord to people.  We should not be discouraged.  Just come before the Lord.

We have no more time to be sorrowful.  When we come to Him, we would be filled with joy, satisfaction, peace, freedom.  Just come to the Lord and enjoy Him.

Simply bring our enjoyments to the saints.  Serve the Lord to the brothers and sisters.

Satan wants to hinder our service.  He wants to cause us to lose our enjoyment for the Lord.  We should not heed of him.  Rather, we should go on, pursuing after the Lord, enjoying the Lord.  And we should have prayer of authority.  We need to have the faith.  Faith is just to be joined to the Lord more and more.

It was the Lord who washed the disciples' feet one by one.  Sometimes in our condition, we are ashamed to come to the Lord.  But we need not to.  We just need to ask the Lord to come and serve us then we'll be back in the fellowship.

There may be lots of trials.  But we just need to let the Lord deal with all the things that's happening to us.  We're should be determined to gain and experience the Lord more.  So come more to the Lord, bring our problems to the Lord.

After the brothers' speakings, we were asked to pray for the ones in sicknesses and trials.  Because recently in Manila there are certain number of serving saints or their family member had became sick and needs to be confined in the hospital, it hinders them from serving.  So we were asked to pray by groups to strengthen the ones that needs the Lord's healing and to further strengthen each one of us in going on in the Lord.

Today we pursued "The Process of God's Building: Strengthening the Spirit through Calling upon the Lord's Name and Pray-Reading the Lord's Word".

Scripture Reading: Ezra 3

I especially liked the portion about calling on the Lord's name. Several saints had testified concerning that too.

We've enjoyed the verse Lamentations 3:55-57 together, "I called upon Your name, O Jehovah, from the lowest pit. You have heard my voice; do not hide Your ear at my breathing, at my cry. You drew near in the day that I called upon You; You said, Do not fear."

In Greek, call is "ekkaleo". Whenever we have sorrows, troubles, or things that bothered us, we can just call on the Lord's name, "O Lord Jesus!" It is just so simple.

Oftentimes people may forget God's existence. But there are lots of testimonies of the saints that when they called on the Lord while they were placed in a troublesome situation, or while they were in pain or sicknesses, they felt lightened afterwards. This is not speaking about a psychological effect, but it is because of the Lord.

People from times of old, even from the third generation, Genesis 12:8, learned how to call on the Lord. On the one hand it is to admit that we are just weak and frail. But on the other hand, it is such an enjoyment to call upon Him! When we call on Him, we get all that He is. You need peace? He is. You need rest? He is. You need satisfaction. He is! You can have everything just by calling on His name.

Do not think that it is just a light matter to call on His name, when you call on Him, you get all that He is, you get Him! His name is gazillion times different than when you're calling your friends' names, your family's name, your favorite idol's name. Only His name would nourish and satisfy us!

Even when preaching the gospel, we do not need to say or explain lots of things. We only have to bring people to touch the reality, to contact Him, simply by calling on His name. Whover calls upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved. He would immediately come in and enliven each one of us.

So day by day and moment by moment we have to call on Him, "O Lord Jesus!"

Each One Should Prophesy

1 Corinthians 12:24-25 "But if all prophesy and some unbeliever or
unlearned person enters, he is convicted by all, he is examined by all;
The secrets of his heart become manifest; and so falling on his face,
he will worship God, declaring that indeed God is among you."




As I read the letter of repentance that the ones utilized by Satan to disrupt the
building of the Body of Christ had written, I was being enlightened as to how
important our functioning in the meeting is.




In the letter, the brothers had said that even though they were used by
Satan, yet they were present in the same meetings that I had attended previously!
They had said that it was because of the Word that was spoken by the

speakers that they've been enlightened as to what they were doing
then. Their veils had been taken away because of the
speakings. I now realized how important it is to function in the
meetings.



Before, I thought that as long as we are in the
meetings, it would be quite good. Because we chose to meet
together to pursue after the Lord etc. But after this, I realized
that we have to be like on the battlefield when we are in the
meeting. We should all give whatever we have from the Lord for
the meeting.  And we should function properly.



It is not a light matter at all.

Mine is Panda the Rabbit the "mataray girl" but its furs is very soft that even though I may be branded with red marks whenever I held her in the wrong way yet I just couldn't resist hugging her from time to time (almost everyday if I'm home), while my sister's is Brownies the Dog or man's best friend. She'll follow you wherever you go...

The point that he is speaking here is that there may be lots of Christians in a country such as the Philippines, yet there is not much God expressed. Only when there is Jesus in everyone of us being expressed, that is the only time that God would have His corporate expression.

Blending with the Taiwan Saints

Former, Recent, and Future Trainees of Middle-Age Trainees of Taiwan came to visit Manila. (3/21/07)

Really enjoy blending with them. No pretense. Just enjoy Christ. Even though they are lots of years ahead of me, yet I do not feel the gap, they do not seem to be filled with Chinese culture (the traditional styles), rather, they are filled with Christ. They are my brothers and sisters.

So nice to be in One Body, speaking the same thing, and loving the same Person, Christ!:)

Having Morning Revival with YP

Yesterday, we had morning revival together with the highschoolers.  At first I was worrying if the yp would make it at 6:30 in the morning for mr. 

But praise the Lord!  There are 4 overcomers that joined!  Here are they, excluding me, and including the
young brother who took the picture:






We pursued the booklet: A Simple Way to Touch the Lord.  Yup, it is just so simple.  All you need to do is to just call "O Lord
", "Amen", "Hallelujah", and you'll breathe in all that He is, all that He has accomplished!  How wonderful is this name!

After that, we had breakfast prepared by Sis. Jo, yummy!  Thanks mommy Jo!

Then I've got to go to another appointment and leave them.

国度的来临

昨晚让我印象深刻的一个点:

路加十七章二十至二十一节说，“法利赛人问神的国几时来到，耶稣回答说，神的国来到，不是观察得到的；人也不得说，看哪，在这里，或说，在那里；因为看哪，神的国就在你们中间。“



这一段经文给我们看见，神的国，就是救主自己。 有人会说，国度在这里，或说国度在那里。 但主说不要信那些话；他说，神的国就在你们中间。 国都不是甚么事物，而是一个人位，就是基督自己。 他是那撒种者，他也是种子，甚至是那个种子的长大并发展，作为神的建造和神的国。





我们何等需要让主在我们里面有更多长大的空间， 时时与他完全和作，使它能在我们里面有内在的运行， 好叫我们加快他的来临。
