Venue: QC Meeting Hall
Date: April 18-20, 2008
There were morning and evening sessions. The morning sessions were spoken by brother Willie, and in the evenings were by brother Ron. I've only attended the evening sessions, here are the topics for the evening sessions:
Message One - Experiencing the All-Inclusive Oneness in Zion
Message Two - The Application of the Processed ad Consummated Triune God to Our Being
Message Three - The Grace of Life and the Blessing of Life
My enjoyments:
In message 2...
How we need to ask the Lord to take away the veils for us to be able to be in this oneness. It is not a matter of our own efforts in trying to be one, nor is it the unity that political science is teaching us, but it is the painting of the processed and consummated Triune God continually to our being until we are in the reality of the oneness.
A portion from the outline...
The oneness is made real and practicl by means of the anointing that is upon the Head and that spreads upon the Body.
Genuine oneness consists in the anointing of the compound, all-inclusive Spirit as the ultimate consummation of the Triune God; only under this anointing do we have the genuine, unchanging oneness.
The ground of oneness is the processed Triune God applied to our being.
The anointing of the compound, all-inclusive, life-giving Spirit is the element of our oneness.
As we are "painted" with this ointment, our natural constitution, temperament, and disposition are reduced, and what remains is the mingling of the processed Triune God with our uplifted humanity; this is the genuine oneness.
The strongest proof that we have seen the Body is that we can no longer be individualistic; we cannot live without the Body, serve without the Body, and have a spiritual life outside the Body.
Message 3:
Psalm 133
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard; that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.
May we all become a
dewed dew! Praise the Lord that the dew is so available to us, it reaches to wherever we are. We need to daily ask the Lord, "Lord supply me with today's portion of grace."
The way to be one is not by trying to be one, but to be dewed. If we do not enjoy the dew, we cannot be one. If you want the dew, get on the mountain!
A portion of the outline:
The proper church life is life in the genuine, all-inclusive oneness, which is the mingling of the processed Triune God with the believers.
The all-inclusive oneness is like the dew that descends upon the mountains of Zion.
The dew signifies the descending, refreshing, watering, and saturating grace of life, the processed Triune God as our life supply for our enjoyment.
As the dew, the grace of life, becomes our enjoyment, we share in the genuine oneness; if we are not under the dew that waters, refreshes, and saturates us, we cannot be one with other believers.
It is on the mountains of Zion that we experience this dew; if we would enjoy the dew which typifies the all-inclusive grace, we must be on one of the peaks, the mountains, of Zion.
In the local churches we are daily under the dew, under the grace; in the church life we enjoy the Lord's sufficient, exceeding, manifold, abundant grace.
We should never underestimate the importance of the church as a corportate person who receives the ointment and as the place under the descending dew.
